Participate in your company's Matching Gift or Volunteer Grant program
Many companies offer employee benefit programs, such as Donation Matching and Volunteer Matching programs, which can double or even triple the value of your contributions and volunteering efforts.
By participating in these corporate giving programs, you have the power to magnify the positive change you bring to our cause, without any additional financial burden.
There are many employers who offer Matching Gift and/or Volunteer Grant Programs to make your donation go even further. Your company could be one of them.
View the list to see if your company does. If you don't see your company here, contact your Human Resources, Employee Experience, or Community Relations team to ask if they provide any matching to your donations.
Company Donation Matching Program:
- Contact your HR, Employee Experience, Community Relations, or Benefits department to inquire about their donation matching policy and to obtain appropriate forms or online access.
- Often, companies will match your charitable contributions dollar-for-dollar, while some may contribute even more.
- Some companies require you to donate through their donation portal.
- Companies will have a cap per year for matching donations.
- Fill out the employee portion of the form and submit the donation for company approval.
- Donate to WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTERS
- In the memo / comment please include “Westwood” & your student’s name. We want your donation going to the right organization, and your student to get credit for the amount donated.
- Submit your donation. Once you have made a personal donation to our organization, submit the necessary paperwork and proof of your contribution to your HR or Benefits department. They will verify the information and process the matching donation.
- Submit a copy of the receipt of your approved matching donation to our WABB fundraising team. This could be a screenshot of the donation portal or a forwarded email of the approved donation match.
- During either our fall or spring fundraisers, upload the documentation to our online fundraising platform.
At other times, email the documentation to fundraising@westwoodband.org.
Company Volunteer Matching Program:
- Check for volunteer hour matching: In addition to donation matching, some companies also offer volunteer hour matching programs. These programs contribute a monetary value for the time you spend volunteering with our organization.
- Track your volunteering hours: Keep a record of your volunteer hours, including any projects or events you participated in and the number of hours contributed.
- Request volunteer matching: Submit your volunteer hours to your HR or Benefits department, along with any required documentation. Your company will then calculate the corresponding monetary donation based on your volunteer hours.
